The Ondo State Police Command has arrested two Adekunle Ajasin University students, Queen Sodo, 19, and her male accomplice, for allegedly drugging and raping a 20-year-old female student. The victim had been invited to Queen Sodo's residence, where she was given a drugged drink, causing her to lose consciousness.

According to DSP Olushola Ayanlade, Queen Sodo allegedly left the room and summoned her male accomplice, who committed the crime while she kept watch. A neighbor intervened after hearing unusual noises, finding the victim unconscious and naked with the male suspect.

The victim received medical attention and is currently recovering in a specialist hospital. Both suspects have confessed to their involvement and are in police custody. Key evidence, including the drugged drink, has been recovered and will undergo toxicology testing.

The police assure the public that offenders will face the full weight of the law, regardless of their relationship with the victims. The suspects will be transferred to the Gender Desk Office for further investigation and prosecution.
